Welcome!
Welcome to the Birkenstock Bugler Blog!
First, I must thank Bethany Hansen. Bethany and I go back to Junior High School days, (yes, a long time ago, in a land that seems far away). Bethany and I have managed to live at different ends of the earth, but remain in touch as we can. In recent months, Bethany invited me to view her blog spot and I look forward to it each time she reminds me of it. I looked into starting my own, and well, here we are. So, with thanks to Bethany's sharing with me, I am able to share with all of you!
For those who have known me for at least six years, we used to have a printed version of the Birkenstock Bugler, the family newsletter. Shortly after Karl was born, it became too time consuming to generate the Bugler and too expensive to mail to the 125+ homes that we did. I have tried several times to do an electronic version, similar to this, but have run into various problems. Our last attempt was done on myspace.com, but we discontinued when we were informed of the questionable advertising that was shown when signing into it. This site is easy to use, easy to update and easy for you to interact with. Plus, it is FREE!
I will remind you from time to time that we are here or if there is something specific we would like you to take a look at. In the meantime, we welcome you to our first post, first pictures and hope you will come back to see us here!
Be well! God bless!
